top o’ the mornin’

i am making a promise to myself to spend time editing the ireland photos in between every may clients. so here is the first day.

our resort was on a golf course facing killarney national park and a lake. tom, toby, sarah, and i decided to walk down to the lake the first morning after we arrived in ireland. dont ask me why i did not take any people shots this day….maybe because i was in awe of the beauty of ireland or maybe because we were still cross eyed and jet lagged from the two planes, two trains, and taxi ride from over the pond.

the view from the back of the resortundefinedthe most lovely little cottage we ever saw right off the grounds of the resort. we had all kinds of wonderful stories about this house…maybe an old lady lived there and would come out and sweep the porch on cue, or maybe it was apart of the resort and special guests got to stay there. we found out that an american family summers there. and if the family is reading this, we apologize for walking around and maybe peaking in a window.undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedcontinuing on our walk, toby and tom started to get quickly irritated with me stopping to take pictures every two feet so they walked ahead. thank you sarah for staying back with me:)undefinedundefinedundefinedvery enchantingundefinedundefinedundefinedwe got to the lake!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedafter the lake we noticed the path continued on into the national park. we were told by locals it was a short (10-15min) walk into killarney undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined

st. mary’s cathedral

some of you may know this church was used as a hospital during the great famine. hundreds of babies and children are buried beneath the tree in front of the church that did not survive.

this is truly a breathtaking place to beundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedst. therese is my confirmation nameundefinedundefinedamazingundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined
