Being a Milwaukee Newborn Photographer included some traveling, but it was so worth it to meet Mr. S!
When mom contacted us about newborn pictures for her upcoming arrival, she included a little background history.
The P family suffered a loss of their baby girl.  She was born premature at only 24 weeks.  They were able to spend one week after her birth together, but have limited photos…  So with the P family expecting again, it was a no brainer!  I knew I would make the trip to Milwaukee and an added bonus was spending the day with a friend too.  Amy came along for the ride and assisted with the session.
It was hard to plan for the session and when the baby would arrive.  Mr. S gave mom a run for her money.  She was on strict bed rest for months before his arrival.  He was anticipated to be an early arrival too, but surprised everyone with his full term arrival!
Mr. S was a joy to work with.  It took some time to get him to sleep and he really had his own agenda.  Once asleep we were able to capture these beautiful images.  We definitely shared some laughs along the way too. (Hope the ottoman has recovered 😉 ) We insisted that grandma be a part of the session.  She was reluctant but the image of them together is beautiful.
Congrats again P family!  Mr. S is absolute perfection and we look forward to seeing you again!
