this little guy slept for pretty much three hours straight. and if he did wake, he was so content. i have a feeling this handsome baby is going to be a very laid back boy, just content in his surroundings.

pure, fresh, natural

i love nothing more than this. mom wanted her baby boy documented exactly the way he is. not over photoshopped. she wanted the flakes, hair, and perfect imperfections a newborn has. not a bunch of props, just baby boy. pure and fresh. the way his body wants to curve and rest.

this to me is exactly the type of work i want to to do. capturing life how it is.

r is seriously the sweetest little thing. her smile just melts your heart. we did the photos in black and white and color. but mom said she loves black and white photos, as do i. there is something so beautiful and simple about black and white photographs. i think they look stunning in silver frames with white mats in clients homes.
