I love these two girls so much and love that we have had so perfectly fabulous sessions! Mom had this idea and I can not wait to see their Holiday card.

This family has been waiting for their GCP session for a long time. I was supposed to photograph J when he was born, but I was put on rest. Yes, he is only 3 months old! He is huge, but so happy. Sweet and sassy C was a little upset with me when I was photographing  J but I am pretty sure we got more than enough of her! She is such a model, and I have a feeling her parents will be trying to lock her up when she is older. I am in love with all of these photos! Their mom was a bit high maintenance  so I hope I pleased her 😉

{jk…mom was the most laid back parent EVER! I asked her what she was thinking and her response was “you know I don’t care”}P I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterest

    OMG! These are absolutely perfect!! You caught so much personality!!ReplyCancel

I look at this picture of a good old friend’s daughter and see joy. The kind of joy only a child can have on Christmas morning. And it reminds me of the  important things this season. During this time of year is when things can easily spin out of control, and I focus on emails, editing, uploading, downloading, orders…and I easily set aside the things and people that matter then most. Last year I let it get the better of me and kept saying well “Tis the Season” with a sense of tired and regret. This year I want to say “tis the season!” with JOY.

tomorrow I start a personal project.

something that will take seven weeks…one day a week….until Christmas.

will you call me out if I get caught up in the stress of the season?

can I be honest enough with myself to share with you…my life….sooc. {straight out of camera}

Watching babies grow is so bitter sweet and so is when they turn one. It is so amazing to watch them learn progress and grow, and I love being apart of that. V is one of those babies I got to spend time with this past year and loved every minute. Our session did get moved around a bit due to the Chicago weather, and the day we met was windier than we hoped. V was a trooper and did really well even though her little nose was freezing!

Happy Birthday sweet V! I wish you so many more perfect birthdays!
