You may remember Mike and Shera’s amazing engagement session here.

They are an amazing and beautiful couple, and I am so honored I could be apart of their day! Here is a sneak peek from their wedding, Tara and I had a heck of a time choosing our favorites, so here is more of a “slideshow” of them. Stay tuned because I am sure there will be more from this beautiful day!

Gina and Tara Photography {Couture wedding Photography for the Modern Couple}: Tara Kennedy was a past client of mine {one of my very first} and had a passion for photography from the start. She purchased a DSLR and started shooting and studying away. Naturally she had an amazing eye and ambition to learn all she could. We started talking and having play dates {our kiddos are a weak apart} and realized we both like the same style of lifestyle photography. We also both want to bring a boutique {or couture} type of photography to the Chicago area. We want to give our clients an experience and make sure we do not leave out any details. As we talked more and tried to figure out a way to work together, I started having clients call for wedding photography. I knew Tara was the perfect fit to shoot with. Our styles being similar, our passion the same, and one goal to bring high end beautiful lifestyle photography to the area. Hence Gina and Tara Photography started. We will eventually start a website, but for now you can drool over these amazing pics from Mike and Shera’s wedding.  Feel free to contact us for our 2011 pricing, we would be thrilled and honored to document your special day.

Thanks again to all who entered and stay tuned for the next contest.  “Christmas in July”  One deserving family will win a Full Session just in time for the Holidays!

Quick details:

1. a deserving family has to be nominated by someone else

2. Due to the economy or illness some families may have not been able to afford or have time to have a family session

3. Nominators should send in this families story and possible pictures of the family or at least part of family. The families’ story will be public.

4. Three families will be selected and then their stories will be posted on the blog. Voting will be done the same way as the summer vacation photo contest was.

5. The chosen family will win a Full Session with 5 of their favorite images on CD. The session must be scheduled before Christmas, since the reason I am doing this is so the family can have beautiful images for the holidays.

So start thinking of a deserving family and you can even start submitting stories if you wish. I will be posting all details and Face Book event next week.

R is growing so fast! I love seeing her smile and bright eyes. Here is a sneak peek at our session on a very hot Sunday.

P I N this to pinterestSide Note: I am back from my amazing and relaxing vacation in Lake Norfolk Arkansas. Thank you all that were patient and understood this much needed break. I did work while I was there but had a very weak internet connection. Trying to send an email was frustrating let alone trying to upload a gallery of photos. Many *sneak peeks* and gallery will be posted this week. Including an A M A Z I N G wedding I shot.  I will be returning emails and phone calls as well throughout the week! Remember the summer vacation photo contest ends tomorrow morning!

This little sweetheart is just gorgeous and has the best personality! Despite the heat she rocked this session like a true super model. We have so many amazing images from this session and I wish I could post them all. The umbrellas are hers from Thailand and that sweet bracelet was a gift from family. Her mom and dad were pretty fun to work with as well :)! Thank you B family for having me over and letting me document your little angel!
