Miss M was just stunning for her Frankfort Senior Session. She was so excited to use the red truck for her pictures because of sentimental reasons in her family. I was so happy to help make her vision come together!

M truly has a heart of gold and it was so great catching up with her. She hasn’t had professional pictures taken in years and I loved being able to make this moment so special and all about her. We had so much fun exploring the property.

If you are interested in using this property and truck for your own family photos let me know!

It was such an honor to shoot Jodi and Jonny’s wedding at the National Athletic Club in Fox Lake. The weather could not have been more perfect and the Chain of Lakes was the perfect backdrop to their ceremony and portraits.

Jodi and Jonny have a love for each other that just radiates off of them. Every single guest could be heard making comments about how crazy they both were about each other. The way that they individually talked to me about each other, the way that they looked at each other and the way interacted when near each other without even thinking about it was something so special to be around. Their vows brought out many tears of happiness.

There were so many special moments included in the ceremony. They picked the date of September 5, 2020 because it would have been the 50th wedding anniversary of Jonny’s parents. While his Mom was there in spirit shining brightly down on them, Jonny’s Dad walked Jodi down the aisle to give her away and had the most beautiful words to say. The aisle Jodi and her bridesmaids walked down was filled with pictures of memories of all of their loved ones. One of Jonny’s dearest friends was the officiant and their bridal party was made up of their closest family and friends.

After the ceremony guests were treated to Five Squared Pizza +
as an appetizer, which was a huge hit! A lovely catered dinner and dancing all night long finished the night off perfectly. Of course they had one last surprise for all of their guests with their last dance. It started off with a nice sweet song, but was cut off half way through and they broke off into the Tootsie Roll! I loved every minute of it.

I feel like the only proper way of ending this blog and sending some love back to Jodi and Jonny is by saying:

Tilt. Tilt. Sweater. Sweater.

The O family might look familiar to a lot of you as Denise and Josh are owners of Buzzes and Beehives, a favorite place for kids (and adults!) to go for hair cuts.

So of course their hair was all on point and I LOVED their outfits. Denise said before their session she has a dress that she loves, but no where to wear it and was worried it would be too much for their pictures. I told her it was a must! Their style shows perfectly why I tell clients not to shy away from patterns. Everyone showing up in the same color shirt is definitely a big no, no in my book! The girls dresses pulled colors perfects from Denise’s and Josh tied them all together.

There’s always lots of laughs with this family and even though they proclaim to be awkward picture takers, I don’t think I’ve ever taken a bad picture of them. So much love for the O Family ❤️

I’m so excited to announce that my “Framily” has expanded! Mr. Jase’s arrival was one of the most highly anticipated events of my summer wondering when this little love was finally going to make his arrival. I couldn’t wait to meet him!

He definitely didn’t didn’t disappoint because he was cuter than I could’ve even imagined! Big sister Shae was even ready to share the spot light and made sure to give him lots of kisses.

Love this family so much and love that our kids get to grow up together ❤️
